My big, hairy audacious goal is for every Agile coach to not only understand the importance of team roles, but also actively implement and utilize them when working with teams.

    This means that in 10 years, Agile coaches will have the knowledge and expertise to help teams define and understand their individual roles within the team, as well as how those roles fit into the overall team dynamic. Coaches will be able to use this knowledge to identify any gaps or imbalances in team roles, and work with the team to address and improve them.

    Additionally, by 2030, Agile coaches will have developed innovative and effective techniques for incorporating team role awareness into daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. They will be able to create tailored strategies for each team, based on their specific roles and team dynamics, to ensure maximum productivity and collaboration.

    But my ultimate goal is for Agile coaches to go beyond just understanding and implementing team roles; they will also empower teams to take ownership of their own roles and to continuously assess and adapt their roles as needed. This will lead to empowered, self-organizing teams who are able to work together seamlessly and achieve remarkable results.
