I am new to the IT industry, should I get my ISO 9001 or ISO 20000 certificate?

Starting out in the IT industry can sometimes be a bit daunting. It is an industry that is riddled with jargon, acronyms and different meanings for normal words.
Even when you have formal IT training or even a computing degree, the way some words and terminology is used in the company can be a bit different from what you're used to.
For example - your company is using formalised quality standards throughout the business... but which standard is important for you to know more about? ISO 9001 or ISO 20000?
Both standards deal with the overall quality of your business processes and the associated documents and records, but which one should you focus on for your further education and qualification?
When you work in the IT industry and need to work with standards that are specific to IT Service Management, your best option is to focus on the ISO/IEC 20000 standard and specific courses around ISO/IEC 20000.
