Mystery Student - Introduction to the Help Desk Analyst online training

5th Oct 2016

Being anxious to start my course, I went through the first module, which is Introduction to the course, very quickly. I was about to start on the next module when I realized that I as I have 3 months of learning the course, I should not rush it so much. This is one wonderful aspect of online learning. I set my own pace and goals and most of all, I study at my most convenient time. So I went through the Introduction again, this time, listening and assimilating what is being presented thoroughly.

The introduction welcomes the student to the program by explaining in detail of what the course is and what to expect within the course. The presentation was very clear, concise and easy on the eyes and the ears. The presentations are easy to follow, comprehensible and clear. At first impression, it dispels one's perception that online courses are complicated and arduous. I somehow imagined that I would be bombarded with slides after slides of information. But, I can see that the course's method of presentation is minimal, I am positive my eyes won't be strained too much. It would be a comfort to look forward to. Since the slides are easy to follow, going through the Introduction was a pleasant experience and it somehow promises that a more agreeable learning can be expected. This made me look forward to the entirety of the course.

Another big help is the pdf file of the complete course. It is the written presentation of the course and some topics are discussed further. Studying both the audio-visual presentation and the pdf is really helpful. The slide presentation and the pdf file have a different style of presentation. Some contents are not exactly the same, but they complement each other so it would be to my best advantage if I study both tools.
